There is an easy flow to the presentation of text material. Since the textbook is intended to be for a shorter than two-semester course, the explanations are brief and to the point. This is clearly an advantage for instructors who intend to cover a typical statistics course in one semester, without sacrificing subjects such as regression and analysis of variance.
