Tony is a highly acclaimed instructor who is a former North Carolina Community College "Teacher of the Year" and a recipient of the Teaching Excellence award from the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development in 1997. He is the principal author of the `Starting Out' Series that includes Java, C++, Visual Basic and C# programming titles.
