Sinopsis
Summer 1980 - Ronald Reagan is running for president, Elizabeth Taylor is in rehab and Sting has hair. Gauche 17-year-old dancer Mindy Solomon is leaving Florida for New York, her goal: to make it big. After getting a first break in a musical on Broadway, she decides to try her hand at stand-up.

Acerca del autor
Rita's regular appearances in the late 80s and early 90s, on Late Night with Letterman and Comic Relief established her as one of the great stand-up comedians. She co-wrote and starred in the movie Peter's Friends with Emma Thompson, Kenneth Branagh and Stephen Fry.
