Does the English education system measure up to the challenge from its competitors? This is an examination of the education system in England as compared with neighbouring countries, such as France. Acerca del autor
Patricia Broadfoot is Vice-Chancellor and Professor of Education at the University of Gloucestershire, UK, and former Pro Vice-Chancellor and Professor of Education at the University of Bristol, UK. She has been awarded a CBE. Marilyn Osborn is Professor in Education at the University of Bristol, UK, where she is Director of Hong Kong EdD. Claire Planel teaches at the University of Bristol, UK.
