Heat is a form of energy generated (for steam engineering purposes) by combustion, which is in itself a chemical change. The term heat is often misused for temperature, where tempera ture means the degree or intensity of heat.
The unit of temperature is the degree Fahrenheit or the de gree Centigrade, obtained in the following way.
