Sinopsis

Excerpt from Varia on the Text of Hamlet: Inaugural Dissertation for the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Michigan

Readings in the quartos of 1676 and 1703 are recorded' when they differ from those of the second, third, and fourth quartos or from each other. I have not had access to the fifth and sixth quartos. The quarto of 1703 is very carelessly printed, and I have often passed over evident misprints therein.
