Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book examines the origin and variability of the Cerion land snail species, whose diverse forms and characteristics have long fascinated and puzzled naturalists. The author, a renowned zoologist, presents their evolutionary history and the relationship to the geography of the Bahama Islands, where these creatures reside. The book provides a detailed account of the inheritance patterns of Cerion through the lens of heredity and non-heredity, as well as the role of natural selection in shaping these variations. The findings contribute to our understanding of the processes driving the evolution of diverse life forms and the impact of environmental factors on genetic variation. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. Nº de ref. del artículo: 9780265638767_0
