Ebenezer and Lucretia Ledyard Stevens, whose family con sisted of Six sons and one daughter. The Stevens family was originally from the county of Cornwall, England (where some of its descendants are still extant), the ancestors of Dr. Stevens having immigrated to. Boston, Mass, in the early part of the last century. On both sides of the house, it has been remarkable for longevity.
