Excerpt from Agricultural Libraries Information Notes, Vol. 15: January, 1989
The Library is pleased to announce the availability of its revised Collection Development Policy of the National Agricultural Library.
Since the last edition was published 11 years ago, there have been many incremental changes to the nal policy which were noted internally for library staff but which were unavailable to anyone else. It has been estimated that there are more than 150 revisions which make the previous edition not only outdated but misleading as well. Some of the major changes include expanded coverage of human ecology and the collection of machine readable materials, audiovisual materials, and juvenile literature.
