Sir: The proposed Code of Fair Competition for the Retail Rub ber Tire and Battery Trade was submitted to the Administrator on August 23, 1933. Further consideration of the Code was postponed pending approval of the Code for the Rubber Tire Manufacturing Industry. A Hearing was conducted in Washington on December 15, 1933. The Code was revised durin the recess of this Hearing and is submitted in its present form or approval. Every person who requested an appearance was properly heard in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
