While each lesson is an independent story, all the lessons are about the same children; their presence binds the lessons to gether and produces a cumulative interest. They are real chil dren and attractive children, clean and wholesome in mind and body, kind to their pets, and affectionate to each other. Grate ful acknowledgment should be made to the artists, Miss Mary Wellman, Hermann Heyer, F. G. Cooper, and G. W. Peters, for their sympathetic interpretation of these children.
