Tun University, on the 18th April, 1 594, passed a unanimous decree, that it was necessary to cite the Jesuits to a public adjudication, in order to their complete expulsion: in its Memo rial to the Parliament, it is stated, that this new sect had given occasion to the University, to prefer the strongest come.
