Qjodfi regum atque imperatorum animi virtus in pace ita, uti in bello, valeret, sequabilius atque confiantius fefe res humanae haberent, neque aliud alio ferri, neque mutari ac mifceri omnia cerneres. Nam imperium facile his artibus retinetur, quibus initio partum ef't. Verum ubi pro labore defidia, pro continentia et aequitate lubido atque fuperbia in vafere, fortuna fimul cum moribus immutatur.
