Confessing Christ offers a clear path from recognizing a need for religion to embracing faith in Christ as the way to God.
This concise guide explains how the Bible connects repentance, faith, and a personal relationship with God. It emphasizes that religion begins with recognizing one’s need and turns on trusting Christ as the mediator of mercy. The book also warns against letting church concerns crowd out the essential pursuit of reconciliation with God.
Designed for inquirers, it presents practical steps for moving from a sense of sin to prayer, mercy, and a confident reliance on Jesus as Savior.
Ideal for readers seeking a straightforward, Bible-based introduction to faith, repentance, and a personal relationship with God.

Excerpt from Confessing Christ: A Manual for Inquirers in Religion
This little manual has been prepared more in reference to the congregation of which the author is pastor, and to the, community in the region where he resides, than to the public at large. He has intended it to meet a want which the living voice is not adequate to sup ply; and he hopes by means of it to speak where the living voice cannot go, and to con tinue Speaking when the living voice Shall speak no more. Other works in the same department no doubt possess far greater merit than this but the fact is obvious that they cannot be made to circulate in proportion to the need of them. And, constituted as the minds of men are, one witness will be listened to with atten.
