This finders the gungpgynformance of Pfalnaody every where difficult to him that appoints the Verfes But 'tis extremely trouble fome in thofe Allémblies where the Pfalm is fung without reading it Line by Line, which yet is, beyond all Exception, the truefi: and the belt Me thod for in this way of fmging there can be no Omiilion of a Verfe, tho' it be never fo impro per; but the whole Church mui't run down to the next Divifion of the Pfalm, and fing all that comes next to their Lips, till the Clerk puts them to filence. Or, to remedy this Inconvenience, if a wife Man leads the Song, he dwells always upon four or five and twenty Pieces of fome fe lec't Pfalms, tho' the whole hundred and fifty lie before him; and heisforced to run that nar row Round Prill, for want of larger Provifion fuited toour prefent Circumf'tances.
