The rate of taxation levied in the year A. D. 1902 for general revenue to pay the appropriations for the cur rent expenses oi the State and for interest on the bonded 'debt was two and one-half (213) mills, and the tax rate levied for the same purpose for the year A. D. 1903, was one and one-half (ll) mills, a. Reduction of one mill.

The State tax rate for all purposes as authorized by the Legislature is six and one-half (6135) mills, as follows.
