A very enlightening discussion of the vexing problem of chapter house taxation was led by Brother E. V. Dunklee of the Denver Alumni. So important did the problem seem to be that it was voted to refer the matter to a Special committee to be appointed by the Grand President.

The principal business of the short evening session, which was called to order at p. M., was the appoint! Ment Of committees, the presentation of memorials and resolutions, and the reading of congratulatory telegrams from Sig Eps and others in various parts of the United States.
As a stimulus to greater effort in learning and presenting our official songs, Grand Guard William M. Francis announced that he would give an appropriate silver cup to the chap' ter which put on the best program of Sig Ep songs at the next Conclave, the details of the competition to be announced in the journal. The sec! Ond session of the Conclave adjourned at to meet again at o'clock the following morning.
The evening was devoted to more dates, to the dance, to committee meetings, and to sessions which seem to find place in no particular category, but were none the less enjoyable.
