We again failed of Succefs. I had now feen enough of thefe Struggles, to become quite weary of my Share of the Work. It appeared to me highly improbable that you would ever fucceed, after the Defeat of fuch Efforts, as were then made. I fignifie'd fomething like this to'yourfelf at leafi: I intimated, that I {110q Rudy my own Peace, and not engage further in thete Matters, than by giving my Vote, whenever you fhould think fit to offer your felf again. You then, and frequently finee declared, that you had 20 Right to my. Services longer, than I was pleafed to give them, and that you was highly obliged to me for the Part I had taken.
