It was his intention to have hrought the prefent volume to the Cloi'e of the lalt year only-but y'ieid?ng to the fuggefiions of feveral gentlemen, who reprefented to him, that it would be more acceptable to the public to pofipone it till there was a fuflicient' quantity of materials to form a volume, he was induced to include the Parliamentary Papers to the difl'olution in May lafl, and the other documents, to the prefent time.
