DAVID MAYES is Advisor to the Board of the Bank of Finland; Professor of Economics at London South Bank University, UK; Adjunct Professor at the University of Canterbury; and visiting Professor at the University of Auckland, Australia. He has published widely on monetary policy and financial stability and is advisor to several central banks.
