Jane Mansbridge is the Adams Professor of Political Leadership and Democratic Values at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University and the editor ofBeyond Self-Interest.

Aldon Morris is a professor of sociology at Northwestern University and coeditor, with Carol Mueller, ofFrontiers in Social Movement Theory.
