Sinopsis
In this edition, there is a new chapter on reinforcement and addiction that includes recent research tying opiate, cocaine, tobacco and alcohol addiction to physiological mechanisms. The section on ingestive behaviour has been expanded to two chapters - drinking and eating - reflecting recent research. Reproductive behaviour has also been expanded to two chapters - sexual development and behaviour, and maternal behaviour and aggression. Finally, there is a new section on anxiety disorders.
