- MATLAB(r) is an interactive program for numerical computation and data visualization that has become an essential tool for control engineers. Dawn Tilbury is an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics department at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Her research interests lie in the area of nonlinear control and she am a member of the Controls Group in the College of Engineering.
