Almost all computers, including PCs, workstations and mainframes, are equipped with a SCSI interface. The SCSI Bus is designed to connect hard drives, tape drives, CD-ROMs, scanners and printers to any type of computer, while the IDE hard disk interface is found almost exclusively in the world of IBM PC compatibles. Biografía del autor
Friedhelm Schmidt is an independent SCSI consultant based in Heilbronn, Germany. An expert in SCSI, over the last 20 years he has held various technical positions within the computer industry, including eight years with EMULEX, one of the pioneers in SCSI development. 0201175142AB04062001
