Stage 3 First Phonics is the latest addition to the First Phonics series. Six new titles of 16 pp that enable children to practise phonics whilst learning to read. The stories are written by Roderick Hunt are have colourful illustrations by Alex Brychta. Each story practises initial and final consonants, includes CVC words plus CVCC/CCVC words, and practises Reception/Y1 sight words. Each page has 1 - 2 sentences.
