General shelfwear, including fading, discolouration and blemishes to card case, light creasing to case corners; box is rigid and maintains full structural integrity, gilt details to spine. Blue cloth boards have a red title plate to spine, and are in fine condition; light rubbing and minor bumping to the foot corners of Vol.I. Pageblocks are lightly tanned and foxed. Volume one contains nine colour plates, numerous illustrations and a large fold out map at rear, colours true. Volume two contains one colour plate, illustrations and a fold-out temple image; this foxed at spine point. Within, pages are tightly bound and other than light and sporadic spots of foxing throughout, content is unmarked. A beautiful set. Please contact us for further details or additional photographs. VOL2 complete with colour plate and tissue guard having a few barely discernible glue spots {probably obtained in production} being the only slight imperfection in this beautiful issue. The slipcase is very fine clean except for a small production crease but only to the odd extremity. A truly outstanding set.
