Millions of opera fans tune in faithfully to the Metropolitan Opera's famous Saturday radio series. For the last twelve years one of the most popular guests on this programme has been M. Owen Lee, a Catholic priest and classics scholar, who, during the first intermission, often offers live commentary on the opera aired that day. Acerca del autor
About the Author:
Father M. Owen Lee is Professor of Classics at St. Michael's College, University of Toronto. He is widely known for his appearances, both as commentator and quiz panelist, on the intermissions of the Metropolitan Opera broadcasts from New York, sponsored by Texaco. He has published books on Virgil's Eclogues and Wagner's Ring.
