It is expected that this comprehensive up-to-date text will replace the now classic book by L.R.G. Reloar, The Physics of Rubber Elasticity (Oxford, 1975) as a benchmark in the discipline.

Charlotte y Peter Fiell son dos autoridades en historia, teoría y crítica del diseño y han escrito más de sesenta libros sobre la materia, muchos de los cuales se han convertido en éxitos de ventas.
