Sinopsis
Provides theoretical background for some widely used biomolecular calculations and several modern research procedures. It also provides worked examples and spreadsheet templates of numerous biomolecular calculations. The approach taken is multidisciplinary. Thus, some topics discussed may be found in textbooks of biology, general chemistry, statistics, or computer science. Other topics discussed may be found in the primary biomedical research journals, annual review publcations and momgraphs. Whenever possible, applications of the topics discussed to recent research in clinical, academic, industrial,and basic research laboratories are pointed out explicitly. Acerca del autor
R. Cecil Jack is Retired, former Professor and Chairman, St. John's University and former Associate Biochemist, Boyce Thompson Institute for Plant Research. Professor Jack has extensive experience teaching biochemistry to undergraduate and graduate students.
