Michael Ridpath spent eight years working as a bond trader at an international bank in the City of London. He is the author f three other bestselling novels - THE MARKETMAKER, FREE TO TRADE and TRADING REALITY. He grew up in Yorkshire and now lives in north London with his wife and three children.
