Sinopsis
The five children who found a Psammead in FIVE CHILDREN AND IT, discover an enchanted egg in an old carpet. When the egg hatches in their special aromatic fire, a splendid golden Phoenix is brought to life. Between the Phoneix, dormant for centuries, and the carpet, the children embark on some magical adventures. The carpet transports them wherever they wish to go - but magic being a little unpredictable, things do not always turn out the way the children expect them to...

Acerca del autor
EDITH NESBIT was born in 1858 in London. She has published many books including THE TREASURE SEEKERS, THE RAILWAY CHILDREN and FIVE CHILDREN AND IT. She died in 1924.
PAM FERRIS has appeared in numerous stage and television productions. Her television roles include THE DARLING BUDS OF MAY and WHERE THE HEART IS. She recently played Miss Trunchbull in the film of Roald Dahl's MATILDA.
