She has taught at Wellesley, Radcliffe and elsewhere, and her articles have been published in Woman's Day, Chatelaine, Parents magazine, the Malahat Review, Maclean's, Atlantic and many other journals. She has also appeared extensively on television and radio, most recently as hot of TV Ontario's "Parents and Children." Her books include Guiding Your Child to a More Creative Life, The Child Care Crisis and a first volume of memoirs, Raisins and Almonds. Ms Maynard now lives in Toronto.
