This is the book/cd-rom package that describes how to optimize the performance of an Oracle 8 database running on a UNIX system. Covered systems include Solaris, Sequent, and HP-UX. One of the things that will separate this book from the competition is that it provides specific tuning direction for both OLTP databases and DSS databases.
