This text includes true case studies that illustrate psychological principles related to learning, motivation, child development, diversity, and students with special needs. It was written to give pre-service teachers the opportunity to “witness” real classroom events, and to “situate” psychological principles and theories within a variety of actual classroom contexts. This approach allows students to analyze students' and teachers' behaviors from a psychological perspective.
