Sinopsis
The sixth edition of Medical Terminology A Word Building Approach is organized by body systems and specialty areas. Its primary approach, is the word-building technique . Combining forms and word roots are integrated into each chapter of the text, according to body system or specialty area. Suffixes and prefixes are presented in Chapters 2 and 3 and are then reinforced throughout the text. To build a medical vocabulary, all one has to do is recall the word parts that have been learned and then link them with the new component parts presented in each chapter. It is much easier to learn component parts directly associated with a body system or specialty area, and this is the key to the time-proven approach of Medical Terminology A Word Building Approach.
