Acerca del autor

Tibor Koltay is a Professor at the Eszterh�zy K�roly University, in the Institute of Learning Technologies, Hungary. His research interests include information literacy and data literacy, Research Data Management (RDM), and information overload. He has served as a committee member for international conferences, sits on the editorial board for several journals in library and information science, and is widely published.

<p>Modern computing affords novel forms of networking, openness, and accessibility, as well as the potential to manipulate data within the academy. In turn, the functions of academic libraries in relation to data-intensive research are rapidly developing. Research Data Management (RDM) has emerged as a suite of theories and techniques for the organization, storage, preservation and sharing of research data. <i>Research Data Management and the Literacies</i> presents research data management in academic libraries, in the context of such global technological change.
