How do people solve complex problems in mathematics and everyday life? How are new ideas generated? How are clues to the solution of mysteries pieced together and novel events categorized? And how are these skills taught to others? This volume provides a comprehensive and up-to-date review of literature on cognition, reasoning, intelligence and other formative areas specific to the field of thinking and problem solving. It is intended for advanced undergraduates, researchers and academics in educational psychology.
