Charlotte y Peter Fiell son dos autoridades en historia, teoría y crítica del diseño y han escrito más de sesenta libros sobre la materia, muchos de los cuales se han convertido en éxitos de ventas. This volume of Advances in Computers presents seven articles that can be grouped into two general themes that represent the mainstream activities in the computer industry today-the development of effective software and development of complex networks needed to execute this software. the first three articles are in the realm of software engineering and describe various techniques needed to produce better software. the following four articles are concerned with telecommunication and networking issues.
