Programme management is an approach to effectively co-ordinating a portfolio of projects to deliver the full range of expected benefits for the business. These case studies illustrate how key aspects of the programme management approach were tackled in a practical way on six large programmes. The case studies have been written by members of the management consultancies who advised and assisted their client organizations in setting up programmes, and are presented, anonymously, from the point of view of the client organizations. Each case study concentrates on a particular aspect of programme management.
