"An Introduction to Computer Science Using Java" by Kamin and Mickunas is designed for a CS1/Intro to Programming course in which java is used. The authors emphasize the process of programming, which teaches students how to develop correct, efficient, well-structured and stylish programs. In this new edition, the authors put more emphasis on object-oriented programming, greatly expanding their coverage and using a more graphical approach.
