How Do You Win? You Lose a Few Times Along the Way.

Bobby Bones doesn’t do anything halfway. When he launched his career in radio, he didn’t stop until he had one of the most beloved morning shows in the entire country, the nationally syndicated Bobby Bones Show. When he decided he wanted to pursue a career in stand-up comedy, he immediately planned a massive tour in sizable venues, instead of honing his set in small clubs first. When he started his music career, again he dove right in, scheduling dates all over the country. And with his first book, Bare Bones, Bobby traveled nonstop to meet his fans and his book landed at the top of bestseller lists across the country.

But—and there’s a big but here—along the way there have been some epic failures, some embarrassing disasters, some confidence killers, and some total misfires. With each of these setbacks, Bobby has fallen back on the mantra that gets him through, the one he uses to propel himself forward and that has carried him from Mountain Pine, Arkansas, and his troubled childhood to today’s success:
