From the author of Venture With Ideas comes this fascinating inquiry into the human mind and its hidden abilities. Combining his training in the hard sciences with his quest for ultimate truth, Walker examines the questions of dreams, telepathy, divination, psychic phenomena, and life after death, concluding that there is far more to the nature of mind than ordinary reductionist materialism can account for. Kenneth Walker was a prominent English surgeon who became a student of P.D. Ouspensky in London in 1923, and later one of Gurdjieff's students in Paris. He studied and practiced the ideas of Gurdjieff for the rest of his life, until his death in 1966. Nº de ref. del artículo: 024801
