"The demand for public order and safety continues while mistrust of police can run high, particularly in inner-city communities. Cities - the asphalt roots of America - have seen considerable change since the 1960s. Many leading cities now have black, hispanic, and/or women chief executives. But has policing been affected? Have new visions and strategies arisen in response to the twin imperatives of public safety and public trust?" The cities, across America were Santa Ana, Oakland, Denver, Detroit, Houston and Newark, N.J. Nº de ref. del artículo: 90649
