The Divine Embrace: Discovering the Reality of God's Love - Tapa blanda

Reseña del editor

Christina Rees explores the reality of love from the God who is here alongside us.

New spirituality writer, Christina Rees, takes a personal look at the love of God in Christian belief. She considers aspects of Creation, the nature of the Trinity, and God’s revealing of himself to people. She also explores the person of Jesus and the meaning and message of his life, death and resurrection.

Many Western Christians, she says, have a problem with the concept of unconditional love. Christina Rees looks at the reasons for this. She also takes an honest view of difficulties in belief – suffering, doubt and alienation.

Christian faith is about a response to a loving God. Writing out of her own experience, Christina Rees focuses on the nature of that response, which is ultimately beyond the realm of reasoned arguments, and offers a way of discovering hope, joy and love in one’s own life.
