What if you only had 40 summers left?
That’s what someone said to me once – like it was nothing – but it hit me hard. Forty summers. That’s it. The average amount of time most of us have left once we hit adulthood. Eighteen summers with our kids before they’re grown. Suddenly, “someday” doesn’t cut it anymore. And that's the wake-up call we all need.
This book isn’t about telling you what to do, I want it to be your invitation to stop waiting for a “someday” that might never come. The 18/40 Rule isn’t about avoiding crisis. It’s about creating a life that matters – right now.
So this is not “just” another self-help book. It’s a challenge to anyone who’s realized they’re stuck in a life that looks good on paper but feels hollow in real time. The ones who keep saying, “next year,” “once things calm down,” or “when I retire,” as if time is guaranteed. When, spoiler alert, it’s not.
Inside, you’ll uncover:
- Why “busy” is a trap, and how to break free
- What it really means to be rich (hint: it’s not your bank account)
- How to redefine your time, work, and worth
- The painful, soul-shaking truth about living on autopilot in a world where AI, and life, will eventually replace you
This book will push you out of your comfort zone. It’s raw. It’s real. It’s occasionally profane. But always profound. If you’re tired of deferring joy and putting off your dreams, it’s time to stop. The countdown has already started.
Ready to stop trading your best years for a paycheck? To actually live like your time matters? Welcome to The 18/40 Rule. Let’s start making the days count.
