With color frontispiece, two full-color illustrations, two photogravures, numerous black and white illustrations, tissue guards present, also many Head and Tail Pieces drawn by Harry Rountree. All page edges gilt, with ribbon for place marking bound into top of spine present. Authors include Garden Smith, Horace Hutchinson, Harold Hilton, Bernard Darwin, Martin Sutton, and A. H. Crosfield. Of special interest to collectors and bibliophiles is the Appendix listing of golf books published to date. The list of Subscribers is around 500 names, many from the heart & soul of the golf world: C. B. Macdonald, Walter Travis, Max Behr, Hugh Playfair, Sir Henry Seton-Karr, Bart., et al. Armorial bookplate centered on pastedown. All original covers are bright and complete with minimal surface wear. Original silk endpapers clean, hinges complete and unsplit.
