3 vols. 319p; 328p; 331p. A set of three hardcover books bound in 3/4 brown leather with marbled boards. The volumes contain the bookplate and signature of previous owner Joseph Phillimore (1775-1855), an English lawyer and Oxford legal professor. The edges are heavily scuffed and the hinges weak. The front cover of volume 3 is detaching. The pages are lightly foxed, but otherwise unmarked, and the binding is internally secure despite the damaged covers.
