Extracted from ?The Philosophical Transactions of The Royal Society of London?, this is an original disbound paper giving and account of the Trigonometrical Survey carried out by Captain William Mudge and others, their early ordnance mapping of England which went on to become The formation of the Ordnance Survey we know today.
