Two volumes (of three): Volume I: xxiv, [1], 537 pages, 89 lithographs (2 folding), 4 charts, 2 folding maps, and numerous in-text illustrations: complete, without the suppressed bath plate. Occasional light soiling; a few plates with splash stain from upper margin (as seen in third photo). Original binding remains sound, with corners rubbed. Volume II: [5], 414, [18], xi, [1] pages, 4 lithographed plates, 2 natural history plates, ornithology (6 in colour), fish (10 in colour), conchology (5 - two of which are in colour), winds, &c. (16), and 17 folding charts (two of which are bound within text, the other 15 on 14 sheets at rear. Complete. A few charts at rear good only, with splitting along folds; final chart adhering to rear pastedown, with tears and staining. Else very good, with original binding sound. 11.8 x 9.5 inches.
