Six large, green cloth hardback books, with beautiful gilt title impressions and decorative design both on the front board and spine. All six books are in really good condition, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. Corners slightly bumped, with some odd bit of wear and tear, please see images. All pages on the six volumes have a nice gilt edge to them. Volume I, Division 1: (Dedicated to the Memory of His Grace The First Duke of Westminster.) 124 pages, the last page 123/124 has a tiny tear to the right middle side, about 1cms long. Volume I, Division II: 125 - 224 pages, plus list of illustrations pages and preface pages. Volume II, Division I: (Dedicated to the Memory of The Right Honourable Spencer Compton Cavendish, Eight Duke of Devonshire.) 225 - 348 pages. Volume II, Division II, 349 - 464 pages plus list of illustrations pages. Volume III, Division I: (Dedicated to the Memory of The Right Honourable William John Arthur Charles James Cavendish Bentinck, Sixth Duke of Portland.) 465 - 580 pages, plus Appendix pages. Volume III, Division II: 581 - 732 pages, plus index & list of illustrations pages. All six volumes pages intact, all pages, text and lovely illustrations/plates (with tissue paper) are in really good, nice clean, readable order.
